Asante Kotoko lost their first Premier League game as they kicked off their title defence on Sunday in Dormaa where they were defeated 1-0 by Aduana Stars.
The Champions were undone just after 11 minutes at the Agyemang Badu Park by a Richard Arhin goal to hand the home side all three points.
Aduana, who survived relegation will be boosted by this massive win as they prepare for their midweek clash with New Edubiase.
Kotoko will turn their focus to their game against table-toppers, Hasaacas on Wednesday in Kumasi.
