Ghana midfielder, Bernard Kumordzi has extended his deal with Greek side, Panionios.
The player who was subject to interest from other clubs in Greece, France and Germany has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at Panionios until 2013.
Kumordzi initial deal was due to expire a year earlier.
The player says he feels there is a chance to win titles with Panionios hence the contract extension.
“I feel great for this agreement. Panionios is not just a good team, it is a great family,” he said.
Kumordzi scored nine goals last term but is hopeful of improving that mark to aid the club's quest for titles.
“Personally, I want to give much more to Panionios and help them win the title which has proved elusive for a very long time. I think that we have a good team, so we’ll try to be better than last year,” he added.
