HASAACAS LADIES VRS LADYSTRIKERS
Former Champions Hasaacas Ladies – unbeaten in the first two games of the season will play at the Gyandu Park against Lady Strikers on Matchyday three of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. The ‘Dooo Ladies’ have started the season on a blistering note after winning their the two opening games against Sea Lions (1-0) and Essiam Socrates (3-1). Both sides go into this fixture on the back of victory from their last games in the Zone – Lady Strikers romped to a 2-1 win against Jonina, Hasaacas Ladies cvruised to a 3-1 win over Essiam Socrates at Sekondi. Hasaacas Ladies are top of the Southern Zone table with 6 points, while Ladystrikers have 4 points and in 4th place in the standings.
FAITH LADIES VRS SOCCER INTELLECTUALS
Dansoman based Faith Ladies will be looking forward to their first win of the season as they come up against Soccer Intellectuals at the La McDan Astroturf Park on Matchday three. Following their 1-1 draw with Army Ladies last weekend, Faith Ladies will be going all out against the Ajumako based side. Faith Ladies have had a difficult start to the season and victory will move them to the 6th position in the table as Soccer Intellectuals search for their second win of the season.
POLICE LADIES VRS JONINA LADIES
Police Ladies will welcome newcomers Jonina Ladies at the Achimota School Park. The two teams will be facing off for the first time at this stage of the League with the latter only making it to the top tier this season. Jonina are winless and sit barely above Sea Lions, who are bottom of the League table on goal difference. Police Ladies have only managed three points in their previous two games after losing the opening game against Army Ladies in the service derby before Soccer Intellectuals at Ajumako last weekend. A lot is at stake for Police Ladies as they aim to win to solidify their place in the standings.
ESSIAM SOCRATES VRS BERRY LADIES
Essiam Socrates Ladies will entertain Berry Ladies at the Mankessim AstroTurf in another mouthwatering encounter. The visitors have amassed 4 points from two games whereas the host have had a rough start to the season after managing only one point from two games. Essiam Socrates were thumped 3:1 by Hasaacas Ladies over the weekend after picking a draw from their opening game. Socrates will miss the services of influential players Helen Alormenu and Hannah Nyame as the pair are on national duty with the Black Princesses. Berry Ladies are highly motivated to maximize the points on the road after dispatching Sea Lions last Saturday. The Madina side stands a huge chance of competiting for top spot in the Southern Zone following a poor showing last season.
SEALIONS VRS ARMY LADIES
Army Ladies will travel to the Nduom Sports stadium to play Sealions after missing out on the top spot last season. Army Ladies will go into this fixture looking to snatch the maximum points to push their title ambitions. Sea Lions are yet to pick a point in the League after back to back defeats to Hasaacas Ladies and Berry Ladies. They lie at the bottom of the Southern Zone table with no point having gained qualification back into the Premier League this season.
