In-form striker Kennedey Ashia scored the match winner at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday as Liberty Professionals defeated Medeama 2-1.
The defeat is Medeama's second-straight in the Glo Premier League after going down last weekend to Asante Kotoko.
Despite drawing first blood through a 13th minute goal from Theophilus Anobaah, Liberty managed to come from behind to pick all three points courtesy Ebenezer Asifouh's equaliser after the break in the 50th minute before Ashia's winner with 14 minutes to go.
The goal was Ashia, the league's top scorer's sixth in seven outings and it takes Liberty to fifth on the standings and two points off the top.
