Black Princesses midfielder Linda Owusu Ansah has sent a goodwill message to the team ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland.
Linda captained the side throughout the qualifying campaign until she suffered an unfortunate Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury last month while playing for the Black Queens at the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
She sustained the injury in the Black Queens' final match against Côte d'Ivoire in the third-place playoff after coming on in the 82nd minute.
Linda commended the team for their resilience and unity in reaching this stage and wished them well as they prepare to make history.
Ghana will open their campaign against Ecuador on September 6, 2026, before facing Korea Republic and France in the other group fixtures.
