Heart of Lions maintained their hold on the second position on the League table after beating Medeama by a lone goal in their First Capital Plus Premier League match day 12 game played at the Kpando Stadium.
Osman Sackey’s second minute goal summed up the entire game as Medeama failed to get an equalizer.
Lions are now within reach of the top spot with only three points separating them and leaders Ashgold.
Medeama on the other hand are currently lying at the 10th position on the League log.
Meanwhile, Aduana who are level on points with Heart of Lions also beat bottom placed Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
Richard Arhin scored a brace for the home side after Samuel Kyere got the opener for Chelsea in the 27th minute.
With five goals less than Heart of Lions, Aduana are lying third on the League table.
