Lions prey on struggling Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea's struggles continued at the Kpando Park where they were trashed 3-0 by home side, Heart of Lions on Sunday.

The former champions are now stuck the relegation scrap as the season nears the halfway stage with two more matches to finish the first round.

Idan Koney started the damage after 15 minutes when he opened the scoring for Lions.

The home side held onto their slim lead and finished the first half 1-0 in front.

Lions recorded two more goals after the break through Sheriff Mohammed and substitute Samuel Yeboah.

At the Baba Yara Stadium, a fifth minute goal by Prince Boateng handed King Faisal a 1-0 win against bottom side, Inter Allies.

The win takes lifts them from the relegation zone up to the 9th position.

In Dorma, Aduana Stars picked a 1-0 victory over Wa All Stars. Emmanuel Allan scored the winner to hand them all three points.
