The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is taking shape after twelve weeks of action in both Northern and Southern Zones of the competition.

Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies maintained their Premier League charge as goals from Tracy Twum and Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah secured a classic 3-0 win over Northern Ladies to go back to the top of the Northern Zone table. They lead the table with 24 points following 8 wins and 3 losses in 11 League games - with one outstanding game against Kumasi Sports Academy.

Dreamz Ladies and Northern Ladies follow in second and third places with 19 points - while debutants Fosu Royal Ladies and Pealpia Ladies occupy the bottom two positions with 13 and 11 points respectively.

In the Southern Zone, record holders Hasaacas Ladies are atop the table despite suffering their first defeat of the season to LadyStrikers on Saturday. The Doo Ladies have been dominant in the Zone with some top quality display but saw their lead cut to five points.

Hasaacas Ladies lead the table with 29 points, closely followed by Dansoman based Faith Ladies who are in second place with 24 points. Army Ladies are 3rd with 20 points while Essiam Socrates and Sea Lions wallow at the bottom of the table in 9th and 10th positions.
