Medeama are closing in on a second-place finish after beating Aduana Stars 2-1 at the Tarkwa T&A Park on Sunday in the Glo Premier League.

Butr Nurudeen Ali equalised for Aduana in the 53rd minute before Kwabena Adusei scored the winner from a spot kick after Louis Agyemang had been fouled in the box.
