Medeama were 1-0 winners against Aduana Stars on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League to keep their top-four push on course.

Theophilus Anobaah's second half goal at the T&A Park handed the Mauves all the spoils as they will remain fifth on the log after Sunday's round of matches.

The defeat sees Aduana's torrid spell continue as they now risk a place in the relegation zone after the last fixture of the match-day-11 matches.

Both sides fought hard to break the deadlock in the opening half but failed to find the breakthrough.

After the break, it took Medeama 31 minutes before they could find the net as Anobaah completed a move that handed them the win.
