Ghana's sole representatives on the club continental stage, Medeama SC have been drawn in Group A of the CAF Confederations Cup competition alongside former African Club Champions TP Mazembe.
The Ghana FA Cup winners will also face Young Africans from Tanzania and MO Bejaia from Algeria, who eliminated Ashantigold from the CAF Champions League earlier this year.
Group B includes Kawkab Marrakech, Etoile du Sahel, FUS Rabat and Al- Ahli Tripoli.
The Group stage matches which will be played over two legs are expected to begin from the weekend between June 17- 20, 2016.
Top two teams from each group will make it to the semi-final stage of the competition.
Medeama advanced to the group face of the Confederations Cup competition after beating Al Ittihad (Lybia), El Shendi (Sudan) and Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa.
