New Edubiase were undone on the opening day of the Glo Premier League when they fell to Medeama at the Gyamfi Park.
A first half goal by Daniel Larbi Koomson in the 28th minute settled the match as it handed the Tarkwa side all three points.
Edubiase, having cashed in on season's top scorer, Emmanuel Baffour lacked bite up-front as they tried to break through the Medeama defence.
And they will now be attempting to normalise things as they come up against Hearts of Oak, next in Accra.
