A late winner from substitute Kabiru Imoro ensured that Medeama beat Heart of Lions 1-0 at the T&A Park.
The result sees Bashir Hayford's Mauves return to the summit of the Glo Premier League standings after ten matches.
Imoro who took the place of Akwei Polo in the second half tapped in from close range to past former Medeama goalkeeper Stephen Ahorlu in the 87th minute.
Medeama are now one point better than the second-placed team, Aduana Stars who could only draw in Berekum to Arsenals.
