Amidaus Professionals lifted themselves out of the relegation zone for now after securing a 2-1 win against Medeama on Wednesday in their outstanding match-day-23 fixture at the Tema Stadium.

The Mauves have picked only a point from their last three outings and recorded two losses.

The defeat, however dampens Medeama's hopes of picking a place amongst the top-four sides though they have a game in hand against bottom-placed, Aduana Stars.

Daniel Gozar opened the scoring on the half-hour mark in the first half only to see the Mauves draw level on the stroke of halftime when Godbless Asamoah equalised.

Both sides returned from the break eager to score and secure all three points and as the time ticked, it appeared the spoils were going to be shared.

But Medeama were undone in the 90th minute when Richard Ocran doubled Amidaus' lead to hand them all three points.
