Medeama's winless run hit a new low in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday following a shock 1-0 defeat to Heart of Lions in Tarkwa.

The Mauves had drawn their opening three matches prior to meeting the Kpando side but as their expectant fans cheered for a win, Lions roared loudest at the T&A Park to pick all three points.

Nana Egyiry's goal which came twenty minutes into the second half separated both sides as it piled the pressure on Hans Van Der Plyum.

The Dutch man is still chasing his first win but his reign has coincided with Medeama's worst start in their 3-year history in the top-flight.
