FIFA has announced that the media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Japan 2012 (19 August – 8 September 2012) is now open.

Ghanaian journalists and reporters wishing to report on the Black Princesses can access the online application via the FIFA Media Channel from 21 May until 20 July 2012.

Media accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel is only for written press, photographers, new media and non-rights holders.

There is a separate accreditation process for FIFA Media Rights Licensees (MRLs) that is serviced by FIFA Broadcaster Servicing.

For queries regarding media accreditation for Media Rights Licensees (MRLs), please contact [email protected].

Please note that approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean you have been granted accreditation.

Media accreditation for any FIFA competition requires the completion of an accreditation form that can be accessed from the media channel.

Furthermore, please be advised that applicants are responsible for their own visas.
