First Division side, Mine Stars have appealed against a Disciplinary Committee ruling seeking to have Westlandes declared losers in their MTN FA Cup preliminary round match.

Mine Stars lost the game 1-0 at home on December 13 but protested against the use of player Samuel Antwi by Westlandes, claiming that the player was not qualified to have played in the game.

The Disciplinary Committee rejected their protest but Mine Stars have appealed the decision meaning Westlandes' Round of 64 fixture against Medeama scheduled for Saturday, January 21 has been put on hold.
