Accra Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold SC will clash in the final of the 2020/21 MTN FA Cup on Sunday, August 09, 2021 at the Accra Sports stadium.
The match is between two clubs who are not new to the competition – with Hearts of Oak winning the title ten times while AshantiGold have won it once.
The Phobians are chasing a record 11th FA Cup crown – with their last final ending in a 3-1 loss to rivals Asante Kotoko in 2017. Hearts of Oak who have played in 16 Cup finals, aim to win their first double in 21 years.
AshantiGold SC’s last engagement in the FA Cup final was in 2012 when they lost 1-0 to New Edubiase at the Accra Sports stadium.
