National U19 Coach Abdul Karim Zito has invited 34 prospective players for a three-day non-residential screening exercise set to take place in Accra at the Madina Astro turf.
The three-day non-residential screening, which will be held from Tuesday, August 6 to Thursday, August 8, 2024, is aimed at evaluating emerging young players from across the length and breadth of the country.
The selected players, who have been scouted from the various regions, are to report to the Head Coach, Abdul Karim Zito, at the Madina ASTRO turf pitch at 10 am prompt on Tuesday 6th August, 2024. They will undergo series of drills, training matches and technical assessment by Coach Zito and his technical team.
Following the non-residential program, selected players may be invited for further training and potential inclusion in the nucleus of the U19 national squad, which will be preparing for international assignments.
The National U19 team was recently formed by the GFA in its bid to nurture young talent and provide a developmental pathway for young footballers.
