Nick Petroleum, a leading energy company in Ghana, has announced its support for beach soccer clubs, reinforcing its commitment to community development and youth empowerment.
This initial support of GHc100,000, which is part of a larger campaign to promote proper sanitation awareness along the coast, aims to promote the growth of beach soccer in the country.
The Beach Soccer Premier League clubs who received an initial participation support of GHc10,000 from the Ghana Football Association will take up a huge chunk of the investment, with each club picking up an additional GHc5,000 as a token of support from Nick Petroleum.
The remainder of the money will go into beach cleaning initiatives as well as branding for Nick Petroleum at match venues.
"Nick Petroleum believes in the transformative power of sports. By supporting Beach Soccer soccer Premier League clubs, we're investing in the future of our youth, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building stronger communities." AG, CEO of Nick Petroleum, Miriam Danso, said during the maiden event to outdoor the project at the Laboma Beach at La.
The partnership will also focus on future tournaments, providing opportunities for young beach soccer players to develop their skills and compete at the national level.
