The national camp in Prampram is a busy place by this time of the year as four junior national teams are camped there preparing for separate qualifying tasks.

On a quiet national holiday, Tuesday, 6 March as Ghana marked its 55th independence anniversary, Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi visited the national teams at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

This impressive visit saw the GFA President interact with the handlers and some of the players of the male U-20 and U-17 teams and the women's U-20 and 17 sides.

The GFA President also sat through a test game involving the Black Satellites and a local second division side Gbetsele FC from Dawhenya, which the national side won 1-0.

Kwesi Nyantakyi was happy with his visit which afforded him the chance to have a first-hand information on the progress of the teams in camp.

"It was a great pleasure to be at our national camp, the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence. But more important is that I was able to see the teams prepare for their assignments and interact with them," the GFA President told www.ghanafa.org.

"I think that it is an extremely interesting time for our national teams as they chase qualifying places in the age competitions. We are very satisfied with the work done so far but more can be done."
