Okrah hat-trick boost Bechem's survival hopes

Augustine Okrah increased his goal tally on Sunday after scoring a hat-trick in Bechem United's 3-0 win over Medeama at the Bechem Park.

The in-form striker now has 15 goals to hos credit ahead of the final day matches in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The puts Bechem at par with four other sides including Medeama on 39 points and 2 points above the relegation zone.

At the Tema Stadium, Inter Allies pushed Aduana Stars back into the relegation zone after winning 1-0.

Niare Benogo scored the all-important goal that made the difference. Aduana need a win in their final game against champions, Asante Kotoko to retain their place for next season.

Elsewhere at the Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea confirmed bottom side, Amidaus Professionals stay in the top-flight after defeating the Tema-side 1-0.

Bennet Ofori scored the winner that improved Chelsea's chances of remaining in the competition next season and ended Amidaus' survival hopes.

In Dansoman, a first half penalty by Emmanuel Osei handed AshantiGold a 1-0 victory over Liberty Professionals.
