Gold Stars FC's unbeaten run in the Premier League continued on Sunday after a comfortable 2-0 win over Aduana FC at home as the Ghanaian top-flight served up a highly enticing dish this weekend.
Two goals from Ronald Frimpong and Samuel Atta Kumi delivered victory for the miners at the Duns Park in Bibiani as they maintain a one-point lead at the top of the table.
Ronald Frimpong put Frimpong Manso's side in front in the 6th minute before Samuel Atta Kumi added the second in the 73rd minute.
Gold Stars FC, unbeaten since the start of the season, are top of the Premier League table with 15 points from seven matches.
Berekum Chelsea 1-3 Legon Cities
Legon Cities FC's stuttering start to the Premier League season took another turn for the worse as Berekum Chelsea piled more misery on the team with a 3-1 victory at the Golden City Park in Bibiani.
