Premier League Matchday 5 set for intriguing matchups

We're into the fifth game week of the 2024-25 Premier League season with nine absorbing matches set to take place across the country this weekend.

The Premier League weekend begins with a titanic clash between Hearts of Oak and Aduana FC at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday October 4, 2024. Kick off 18:00 GMT (6pm local time).

Medeama SC return to the TnA Stadium to battle Heart of Lions on Saturday October 5, 2024. Kick off 18:00 GMT (6pm local time). The Mauve and Yellow will be seeking to consolidate their perfect start to the season with a win against the Kpando based side.

After that, there's a bumper Sunday with seven games. Asante Kotoko, Nsoatreman FC, Karela United, Dreams FC and Berekum Chelsea are all involved.

Asante Kotoko host Accra Lions at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, while Karela United welcome champions FC Samartex 1996 to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

Nsoatreman FC welcome Legon Cities to the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsuatre on Sunday October 5, 2024. Nsoatreman will hope to return to winning ways after losing 3-1 at Accra Lions, while the Royals have an arduous task of clinching their first win of the season.

GoldStars FC, fresh from their stalemate against Heart of Lions, host Bechem United at the Duns Park in Bibiani.

Berekum Chelsea will stay at home for the second successive time as they welcome Young Apostles FC to the Golden City Park.

Dreams FC, still in search of their first win of the campaign, host Nations FC at their adopted Tuba Astro turf.

Two Premier League new boys clash at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports complex when Vision FC host Basake Holy Stars to wrap up matchday 5 matches in the domestic top-flight.
