The Football Association will organise a workshop for Premier League Venue Media Officers (VMOs) on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, as preparations intensify ahead of the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The virtual workshop forms part of the Football Association's efforts to ensure that key matchday personnel are adequately equipped with the knowledge and tools required to deliver efficient, professional and coordinated media operations throughout the upcoming campaign.

The session will be led by the Head of Strategy and Public Relations, Neil Nuku Armstrong-Mortagbe, alongside the Director of Competitions, Henry Asante Twum.

The workshop will provide an important platform for engagement with Venue Media Officers, who play a vital role in coordinating and managing media activities at Premier League match venues.

Discussions are expected to focus on the responsibilities and expectations of VMOs, as well as key procedures and best practices required to ensure the smooth organisation of matchday media operations.

Venue Media Officers serve as an important link between the Football Association, clubs, accredited media professionals and other relevant stakeholders during matches. Their role is essential in facilitating the effective coverage of games and ensuring that media activities are conducted in an organised and professional manner.

The 2026/27 Premier League campaign promises another exciting season of domestic football, with all stakeholders working closely to ensure a successful and professionally organised competition from the opening weekend.
