President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E.S Okraku has visited the Central Regional Football Association (CRFA) as part of ongoing visitations to the various Regional FAs.
President Simeon-Okraku was at the CRFA Secretariat on Friday, March 22,2024 to meet and interact with the members of the Regional Executive Council.
The meeting was also to update the GFA President on the plans of the RFA for the coming years and the strategic initiatives being implemented in the region.
President Simeon-Okraku expressed his profound gratitude to the Central Regional Football Association especially with the love shown to the Black Princesses on winning the African Games Women's football competition.
He also appreciated the support of the Central Region in helping to develop the game and also supporting him to succeed.
" I'm grateful Robert Duncan (Chairman of the Central Regional Football Association) for your support and let's make the football great again to make it better for everyone".
The President also encouraged the Central Regional FA to also tell their story for the people to know their efforts to avoid the negative information circulating. He later informed the Central Regional FA to set a date for their Regional middle league and also make sure it's live on TV to improve promotion of the game.
Chairman of the Central Regional FA Robert Duncan reiterated that the Ghana Football can succeed with hard work from each member of the Association.
The Regional Chairman also acknowledged the fact that the Catch Them Young Refereeing policy adapted by the Ghana Football Association has improved the game in the Central region.
He added that the introduction of Division Three has also given opportunities to a lot of players to showcase their talent.
President Simeon-Okraku was accompanied by Executive Council members Samuel Aboabire, Eugene Noel Noble, Head of Public Relations and Strategy, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe and the Regional Football Associations (RFAs) Coordinator, Daasebre Adu-Asare.
