The First Capital Plus Premier League returns this weekend for week 28 fixtures as the league nears its climax.

As usual, it promises to be very exciting and explosive as Ashgold hopes to hold pn to their lead on the league table whilst others continue with their quest for survival.

The battles begin on Saturday as league leaders, Ashantigold go away to face 4th placed Berekum Chelsea at the Berekum Golden City Park.

On Sunday, 2nd placed Aduana Stars will also go away to struggling Hearts of Lions at the Kpando Park. A win for Aduana would keep their title hopes alive going into the last two rounds of matches and a loss for Hearts of Lions could further deepen their woes. At the Tarkwa T&A Park, Accra Hearts of Oak will be looking to build on from their win against Bechem United in last weekend as they attempt to move further away from the relegation zone when they come face to face with the home side, Medeama SC.

A resurgent Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be at home and welcome relegation threatened B. A United to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as the reigning Champions seek for a top 4 finish.

In other fixtures, the wonder club, Accra Great Olympics will have revenge on their minds as they host the impressive WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Liberty Professionals will also take on Inter Allies at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman whilst Bechem United and Wa All Stars will both want to bounce back from their disappointing losses in the last round as they come head to head with each other in Bechem.

Finally, New Edubiase will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing loss last time around when they faced Hasaacas in the first round when they host their opponents at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
