Despite a busy international activity for Ghana ahead of their World Cup play-off in Egypt, fans will not be starved of footballing action until next week when the Black Stars attempt to reach next year's finals.

On Wednesday, the domestic Premier League will continue with all sixteen teams in action.

The midweek fixture has a derby game in Kumasi and other exciting parings to look forward to.

Asante Kotoko were sitting comfortably 4 points clear ahead of their closest challengers and rivals Hearts of Oak until they were knocked last Sunday as their lead has been whittled to one point now.

Didi Dramani's side have to be ready for the tough derby against King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium in a game which will be beamed live on SuperSport.

It's a game that will provide a stern challenge to the league leaders title credentials as another slip could be costly.

Hearts of Oak, who are in second, will have to deal with the pressures of having to play away from home following the temporary closure of the Accra Stadium due to crowd troubles.

Still reeling from the absence of coach David Duncan, the Phobians have to contend with the might of an improving Medeama at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

AshantiGold after their giant-killing feat against Kotoko travel to the Tema Stadium to face Inter Allies, who only won their second match out of 11 games on Sunday.

Following their humiliation at home to Hasaacas, Heart of Lions will have to pick up the pieces and be ready for their game against Bechem United at the Bechem Park.

At the Gyamfi Park, New Edubiase will take on Amidaus Professionals while Liberty play Hasaacas at the Essipong Stadium.

Wa All Stars will attempt to make it two consecutive wins for the first time this season when Berekum Chelsea arrives at the Wa Park.

And at the Agyemang Badu Park, Aduana Stars will battle Ebusua Dwarfs to round up a busy midweek action of football.
