After making way for some continental and FA Cup games, the First Capital Plus Premier League bounces back with the Tema derby and four other matches fixed for Saturday and Sunday.

The Tema derby kicks off a weekend of key battles at both ends of the table as Kotoko, Medeama, Berekum Chelsea and Dwarfs are yet again absent from the fixture list due to their involvement in continental duties this weekend.

Amidaus Professionals and bottom side, Inter Allies start off the big weekend with their derby on Friday at the Tema Stadium.

The derby could go either way though Amidaus risk slipping into the relegation zone if they lose with Chelsea and Dwarfs, both having two games in hand.

Despite a long run at the foot of the table, Inter Allies could gradually push up and avoid the drop with a second-straight victory.

Having endured a difficult start to the second round of the league, Hearts of Oak will be seeking for better fortune when they chase a first win in their last four games on Saturday.

The Phobians, who travel to Dormaa after suffering a battering home defeat to Wa All Stars will be hoping to return to winning ways when they take on Aduana Stars.

Loved dearly during his playing days, only a few have come to the defence of Mohammed Polo now. The under-pressure coach knows the odds are stark against him with the Phobians' last league victory coming some 76 days ago.

Times might have changed but Polo needs to find his magic wand that endeared him so much to the fans of the Club when he graced the Accra Stadium as a player.

Aduana, are just two points above the relegation zone and will try to seize the moment which could affect Hearts of Oak's title ambitions come the end of the season and possibly sign off Polo's time as coach of the Phobians.

Impressive in their first outing after a poor first round campaign, Wa All Stars are on the road again, this time to Kpando where they face a resurgent Heart of Lions side.

Lions after winning the first round clash in Wa can make it a league double but will be guided by the form of the Blues when they pierced Hearts of Oak the other day.

King Faisal will be at home to Hasaacas at the Baba Yara Stadium. Both sides are outside the top four but will challenge to push up the log with Hasaacas lying fifth and four points ahead of their opponents.

On Sunday, AshantiGold, with one game in hand begin their second round campaign at the Len Clay Stadium with the visit of Bechem United.

Sitting in second position and seven points adrift the summit, the Miners know it's an an opportunity to further boost their title hopes and pile the pressure at the top.
