The defining moment of a season's campaign begins on Wednesday for eight sides, grouped into two zones and pushing for two premiership slots.

Starting Wednesday, with the exception of Zone II, clubs paired in Zone I and III who are holding out hope of seeing their dreams of playing in the elite campaign would commence the Division One League play-offs.

After completing their league campaigns as the best sides in their respective zones, the form of all the campaigners would be tested over the next eight days.

And the winners after three rounds of matches from every group make it to the topflight league.

A premiership returnee or debutant could emerge from Zone I where Real Tamale United, Bofoakwa Tano, Bazooka F.C and Unity F.C compete for the top honours.

R.T.U and Bofoakwa will be aiming for a return to the elite division while Bazooka F.C and Unity F.C target their debuts.

The opening day pairings will see the Baba Yara Stadium hosting the R.T.U v Bazooka clash while Bofoakwa v Unity FC takes place at the Bekwai Park.

Zone III is packed with four sides chasing their maiden qualification to the Premier League. Amidaus Professionals, Instanbul, Danbort F.C and King Solomon will attempt to secure first place.

Amidaus take on Instanbul at the Gyandu Park with King Solomon, who were involved in last season's play-off campaign playing Danbort at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
