Queens make no movement on Africa table

The first FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking of the new year released on Friday still leaves Ghana as Africa's second best side.

The Black Queens, are now 51st on the overall world table, having dropped one place down the log as they try to equal their all-time highest of 42nd, achieved in 2008.

Ghana start of the the year with 1468 points after bagging 11 more points from the previous build up in the December rankings. The Women's ranking is released quarterly.

On the African table, Nigeria first and ahead of the Black Queens followed by Cameroon and South Africa.

A total of 111 matches have been played since the last edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking.
