Ahead of the start of Africa's Women Championship first round qualifying this weekend, Ghanaian coach Kuuku Dadzie says the Black Queens face an enormous challenge to progress in the campaign.

The Black Queens coach has issued a warning to his team ahead of Saturday's clash against Cameroon.

Ghana take on the Lionesses in the first leg match at the Accra Sports Stadium with Dadzie admitting that the Black Queens will have to be at their best to overcome their opponents, who have qualified for the London 2012 Olympics.

"It's a big game for us," Dadzie told www.ghanafa.org on Thursday, a day after watching the Black Queens beat Inter Royals Ladies 9-0 in a test game.

"Cameroon are no pushovers. They have qualified for the Olympics and for me, on paper, they are ahead of us."

The Black Queens reached this stage after turning in some impressive performances in their 8-0 aggregate win over Mali.

But Dadzie says the previous stage of qualifying is history, insisting that the Black Queens must only think about the future.

"The past results mean nothing now. We have to be really good in order to beat them.

"We have to psyche the players up to perform well. They have responded well in training and worked hard."

The finals of the Championship will be staged in Equatorial Guinea in November.
