Ghana attacker, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie wants to have another shot at the premiership, after his four year stay at Arsenal.

Owusu-Abeyie, who has come to the end of his spell with Spanish division two side Celta Vigo after playing for the Secunda side on loan from Spartak Moscow in the Russia is now eyeing a return to the big stage, the Premiership, once again.

The 22-year old Ghanaian is in England looking for a club despite reported interest from French side Olympic Lyon and says he is better prepared for the demands of the English game now.

“If I get the chance to get in the Premiership, I will do everything to prove myself,” he said.

“I have been in Russia and played a couple of Champions League games. I have been in Spain where the Secunda is not La Liga but I think you can get great experience playing there."

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie believes he is ready now to meet the high standards of the Premiership after bagging in some experiences.

“I have played at the Africa Cup of Nations alongside players like Essien and Muntari and I think I am experienced now. I am matured and think it is the right now to come back to the Premiership.”

Abeyie showed glimpses of brilliance during his four year stay at Arsenals but feels he did not get enough opportunities to prove himself.

“I have got something to prove to myself as well. I thought I didn’t really get the chance to prove myself in my first spell but if I get the chance again I will put my life into it.”
