Real Tamale United forward Rahim Akanta has finished as the top scorer of the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup after scoring three goals in the competition.

Although Real Tamale United were eliminated at the group stage, Akanta enjoyed an impressive individual campaign, finding the back of the net three times.

He scored once in RTU's 4-1 defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs before netting a brace in their 4-1 victory over Debibi United.

Akanta's three goals were enough to earn him the Golden Boot as the competition's top scorer, despite Real Tamale United finishing third in their group with three points and failing to advance to the knockout stage.
