Real Tamale United beats Tamale City to retain top spot in Zone One A

Real Tamale United moved 10 points clear on top of the table in Zone One A after thrashing city rivals Tamale City 2-0 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Mutala Sulemana and Blabala Bamon scored two second-half goals in the 58th and 71st minutes to help Real Tamale United secure all the points.

In Zone One B - Debibi United salvaged a deserved point in an absorbing 1-1 draw in the Bono derby against Wamanafo Mighty Royals at the Adehyiman Park on Sunday. Clement Nketia struck home the opener for Mighty Royals in the 89th minute, while Kusi Solomon leveled matters for Debibi United in the 96th minute. Debibi United remains on top of the table in Zone One B with 31 points.

In another grueling encounter, Eleven Wonders shared the spoils with city rivals Techiman Heroes at the Ohene Ameyaw Park. Both teams had enough goal-scoring chances in either half but failed to capitalize on them, as the game ended in a goalless draw.
