Real Tamale United goes top of Zone One A, Tamale City drop to second place

Northern City recorded their third successive victory for the first time this season as they demolished Walewale Catholic Stars 4-1 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Zone One A. Osman Zakaria scored the first goal in the 27th minute for Northern City, followed by Jabaru Yusif's 61st-minute stunner, a goal from Tijani Issahaku, and Abdulai Abubakari added to the tally in the 74th minute before Hosiah Salifu scored a consolation goal in stoppage time for Walewale Catholic Stars

Zone One A leaders Tamale City suffered their first defeat of the season after losing 2-1 to newly promoted side Wa Power SC at Wa Park. Yussif Fadile put Wa Power SC in front in the 35th minute, as Adams Abdul Aziz equalized with a lovely goal in the 45th minute before Iddrisu Israel scored the winning goal in the 88th minute for Wa Power SC.

Former Premier League side Real Tamale United cruised to a 3-0 win over newly promoted side Yapei FC in Zone One A at the Aliu Mahama Stadium to move top of the table n Zone One A. Wisdom Jonas scored the first goal in the 47th minute, while Blabala Baman hitting a brace in the 49th and 67th minutes for Real Tamale United. Tamale City and Real Tamale United are currently tied for first place in Zone One A with 25 points each after 10 Matchdays.
