Real Tamale United, Northern City and Wamanafo Mighty Royals grabbed vital points on Matchday Two of the Access Bank Division One League as they defeated Yapei FC, Walewale Catholic Stars and Bofoakwa Tano in Zone One.
Real Tamale United netted in the 20th minute through Jabab Morgan to record a 1-0 win on the road - their second consecutive victory in the ongoing campaign.
Northern City came out 3-0 winners over Walewale Catholic Stars at Nalerigu on Sunday. Napari Iddrisu and Osman Zakaria scored two first half goals in the 6th and 39th minutes to give the visitors a 2-0 lead before Ezedeen Alhassan put the icing on the cake in the 70th minute.
In Zone B – Wamanafo Mighty Royals grabbed the points at home over former Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday. Abdul Fatau Salifu scored first for the home side inside 23 minutes before Atsu Torxo and Asante Pius added to the tally in the 55th and 79th minutes of the encounter.
