Rita Boateng and Patricia Kyeraa get WAFU B Women’s Champions League appointment

The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has handed appointments to FIFA referees, Rita Ama Boateng Nkansah and Patricia Kyeraa as Center and Assistant Referees for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers to be staged in Cote d’Ivoire.

Ms. Rita Boateng Nkansah has officiated several high profile matches including U17 and U20 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

She also officiated at the 2023 All Africa Games in Cape Coast as well as the 2022-23 Women’s Zone B Championship staged in Benin City, Nigeria.

The FIFA referee officiated the grand finale of the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup between eventual winners Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Assistant referee Patricia Kyeraa, who has been involved in multiple FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifiers, will be in action at the 2024 Women's CAF Champions League qualifying tournament in Cote D'voire.

She has enormous experience having served as an assistant referee at the 2022/23 Women's Zone B Championship staged in Benin City, Nigeria, and also served as an Assistant in the finals of the MTN FA Cup between Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano.

The 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifying tournament will take place in Cote d’Ivoire from 10th -23,rd August.
