Ghana’s Under-20 team moved to camp on Friday for a six-day training programme ahead of the start of the Fifa World Youth Championship in September to be hosted by Egypt.
Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh has called up a 25 man list for the programme which begins on Friday in Accra and runs till Thursday May 30th, 2009.
The list dominated largely by locally-based players also includes one foreign-based player.
Spain-based midfielder Rabiu Mohammed will join the rest of the squad for the first time this year after missing out of the African Championship through injury.
Ghana reached the World Cup after winning the African Youth Championship title back in January.
The Black Satellites are paired in Group D of September’s World Cup with England, Uzbekistan and Uruguay.
