Jeffrey Schlupp has expressed his delight upon being involved in a victory in his first international start.
Ghana beat Gabon 2-1 on Tuesday in an international fixture in Paris.
The Leicester City striker came off the bench in his first international game against 2012 African Nations Cup co-hosts.
Schlupp, 19, in a post on his Twitter page explained his delight.
"We won 2-1 (didn't score). Came on the last 20 minutes so am happy to have made my debut for Ghana," Schlupp posted.
