Sulley Muntari has been ruled out of Ghana's weekend clash against Mali in the qualifying for the 2010 World and Nations Cup.
The midfielder who helped Inter Milan to win the Italian league has withdrawn from the Mali game because of injury.
"Muntari will be not travelling with us because of an injury and he has sent us a medical report to back that up", GFA vice-president Fred Pappoe told the BBC.
The latest setback means Milovan Rajevac's plans for the game has been hit by key withdrawals with the Serbian coach already without Laryea Kingston, Derek Boateng, Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan.
Ghana top the standings in group D with three points ahead of the meeting against Mali.
