Sulley Muntari will be beginning preparations for the World Cup finals in South Africa buoyed on by the hat-trick of titles collected by club side, Inter Milan this season.
The Black Stars player's final act was to help his club in their 2-0 defeat of Bayern in the Champions League final to end Inter's 45-year wait to be crowned kings of Europe.
Muntari was a second half substitute after Diego Milito had scored two stunning goals at the at the Santiago Bernabeu as he now joins a few band of Ghanaian players in the history books to have won the Champions League.
He becomes just the fourth Ghanaian player in history to win it after Abedi Pele, Sammy Kuffour and Ibrahim Tanko.
The win makes it a treble for Muntari and Inter this season having already won the Coppa Italia and Serie A titles.
Muntari would now be heading to the Ghana camp as the Black Stars on Monday begin their World Cup preparations in France.
