Newly promoted side Sung Shinning Ladies secured a dramatic comeback win on Matchday 4 of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League. Tamale Super Ladies also worked tirelessly to record their first win of the season against Prison's Ladies.

Sung Shining Ladies secure dramatic comeback win

Sung Shining Ladies claimed their first league victory of the 2024/2025 season with a thrilling 2-1 win over Kumasi Sports Academy at the Wa Sports Stadium. After trailing at halftime, Opayemi Gold Philip equalized from the penalty spot in the 50th minute. Sylvia Mwinibamogna then scored a dramatic winner in the 94th minute.

Tamale Super Ladies break winless streak

Tamale Super Ladies secured their second win with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Prison Ladies at the Kulikuli School Astro Turf. Zakaria Rashida's 74th-minute goal sealed the win. Prison Ladies' goalkeeper, Ziblim, received a red card in the 84th minute for handling the ball outside the box.

Dreamz Ladies Remain Unbeaten

In Kumasi, Dreamz Ladies drew 1-1 with Northern Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf. Wasiima Mohammed opened the scoring in the 40th minute, but Sarah Nyarko equalized for Dreamz Ladies in the 51st minute, maintaining their unbeaten record this season.
