League leaders Swedru All Blacks recorded their eleventh successive home win (2-1) in a grueling fixture against regional rivals Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs at the Swedru Sports Stadium. Rudolf Mensah opened the scoring with a lovely goal in the 23rd minute for Swedru All Blacks, but Hafiz Alhassan equalized for Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs in the 37th minute. Oscar Mensah then netted a screamer to help Swedru All Blacks grab all the points. Swedru All Blacks are currently atop the table with 48 points, one point ahead of second-place Sekondi Rospak FC.
In Cape Coast, a resilient Sekondi Rospak FC side secured a crucial away win over struggling UCC Youngsters at the Robert Mensah Park. Kwabena Boakye and John Amoah scored two vital goals for Sekondi Rospak FC in the 27th and 90th minutes, leaving them within touching distance of leaders Swedru All Blacks.
