Swedru All Blacks keeps hold of top spot in Zone Two of Access Bank Division One League
Swedru All Blacks secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Bekwai Heroes at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday, courtesy of Derrick Asiamah's 61st-minute goal. This win keeps them at the top of the Zone Two table with 17 points – three points ahead of Sekondi Rospak FC. Swedru All Blacks are the only unbeaten side in the Zone having gone 7 matches without defeat. They have recorded five wins and two draws in the Access Bank Division One League.
In another match, Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs drew 1-1 with second placed Sekondi Rospak FC at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. Rospak's Ntow Ansah opened the scoring in the 45th minute, but Enoch Afram equalized for Mysterious Dwarfs in the 52nd minute as the two sides shared the spoils.
Elsewhere PAC Academy moved into the top four in Zone Two after defeating Soccer Intellectuals 1-0 at Offinso. Charles Fokuo scored the decisive goal in the 20th minute and was named Player of the Match.
