Hoffenheim have added a third Ghanaian to their roster for the new Bundesliga season following the signing of young striker, Prince Tagoe.

The Bundesliga debutants managed to beat a host of clubs to the signature of the Black Stars striker.

"I am delighted to join a young club, this club is giving an opportunity to youngsters to express themselves and I am happy to be part of it," he told skysports.com.

Premier League sides Fulham and Middlesbrough, together with Valencia, Villareal and Rennes were all reported to be keen to land the 22-year-old.

But Tagoe - currently based in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittifaq - opted to join Hoffenheim on a two-year contract.

Tagoe will now link-up with fellow countryman Isaac Vorsah and Ibrahim Ayew at the Rhein Neckar Arena.
