Tema Youth will now two games in hand following the Premier League Board's decision to reschedule their weekend's fixture to a later date.

The PLB will confirm a new date for the match-day-20 game involving Tema Youth and AshantiGold that was originally fixed for Sunday, March 31.

The postponement of the match is as result of Tema Youth's contribution of five players to the men's U-20 national team, the Black Satellites participating in the African Youth Championship in Algeria.

"In this regard, the Board granted the request per Article 13.4 of the GFA Regulations which states inter alia “where a club has contributed three (3) players or more to the National Team ‘A’ or five (5 ) or more players in any combination of the National Team ‘A’, U-23, U-20 or U-17 the club may request for postponement of its match and the postponed match shall be rescheduled by the GFA”.

Tema Youth were not in action in midweek due for the same reason.
