Tema Youth climbed to the top of the Zone Three table after thumping Mighty Jets 5-0 on Match Day 10 of the Division One League at the Tema Park on Sunday.

The former Premier League campaigners who have flirting with promotion for the past two seasons got their season back on track as they eased passed fellow seasoned campaigners Mighty Jets.

Star player Evans Osei Wusu grabbed a hat-trick in-between Stephen Appiah Asare’s opener and Richmond Darko’s final goal that put the nail in the coffin of Mighty Jets.

The Harbour Warriors now lead the Zone with 22 points – two points richer than second placed Susubiribi who played a goalless draw against Akatsi All Stars.

Alex Aso also scored for Inter Allies as they snatched a point against Kotoku Royals at the Oda Park. Richard Dzikoe opened the scoring before Aso equalized for Allies as the game ended 1-1.

Emmanuel Gyan and Akwasi Bentil Duah got on target for Heart of Lions in their 3-2 away win against Golden Kicks. The five goal thriller saw Dacosta Owusu and Nathaniel Awaitey scoring for the home side.
