The clash of the two former champions ended with Chelsea reduced to ten men after Jordan Opoku was shown the red card in the second half by referee Joseph O. Lamptey.

Chelsea have now slipped from the summit to fourth after two rounds of matches in the competition as they are just two points off the current leader, Medeama.

For Chelsea, they will be looking for a result as they prepare for the Berekum derby against Arsenal next Sunday.
