Ten players open Black Stars training in Accra

The Black Stars are gearing up for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger, and they're off to a great start as ten players attended the opening day training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

The players included goalkeepers Frederick Asare and Joseph Wollacott. The rest are Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas Asante, Jonas Adjetey, Tariq Lamptey, Ebenezer Annan and Ibrahim Osman.

The team will head to Kumasi on Tuesday to continue their preparations ahead of the Group F opener against Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 5 before traveling to Morocco to play Niger on September 9, 2024.
